In the eyes of the property mgt or the business owner it was probably cool to get the extra business at first. Then after a while all the bikes became a problem, all it takes is a few cagers to complain about the bikes being "illegally" parked. Soon the problem starts to outweigh the profit, and thats when they tell the security guards to crackdown. Its just a slippery slope that has happened again and again.

K-mart
Miami Subs
JCI
PP1
ASI

Get my drift.
mos definately and it's exactly what's going on in this occurence. gonna happen where ever we go unfortunately

Thats the problem, buying a bottle of water aint business. Its not like Starbucks and Jamba juice have really expensive menu items. But they are gonna make money regardless if the bike are their or not. At the end of the nite, I doubt that the bikers are really making them a lot more money.

It would be better if a motorcycle related business, opened up their parking lot on a certain nite. That would be a win win for both parties.

i was talking about the boycott when i made that comment, and that's the point to loose them business.

on an average day there i buy the drinks all night long, but not if i'm gonna be harassed!

My bad...You're original message said you went back and forth with the security for five minutes and also the cursing on your message that some how planted in my mind that will probably happen if the security come at you again. Anyways, when you said buy a water then it changes the whole situation. I thought you were going to boycott giving them any business. But again, they can also reserve the right not to serve you. What you are suggesting will only create friction and I don't see any advantage at this point. I would try the passive way first then something more hardcore. You have to earn thier respect first to get someone to bend your way.

i think it'd be cool if a motorcycle shop would stay open til like 10 or 11 to let us hang out at. then people would probbaly buy stuff that they have been needing to get anyway but just 1 night a week or something
