TRIUMPH ambassador and adventurer Charley Boorman has been taken to hospital in Portugal with a suspected broken leg after reportedly colliding with a car on the press launch of the new Tiger Explorer.

His friend and colleague Billy Ward tweeted: ‘CB had accident today in Portugal @ Global launch of Triumph Explorer. In hospital but OK. Send him yor best. Will update U’.

Charley Boorman’s Facebook page has since been updated to say the that ‘he’s in hospital but doing OK.’
