I'm not trying to take away anything from what the guy did...
I'm not a ATV rider but wouldn't it have been lighter to pick up the back end of the bike instead of the motor side?

Guess it depends on how he was pinned and where the quad would have pivoted on the guy, or off of him.

Whats the ground clearance on one of those? Seems easier to flip if back over

wow, atv rider got lucky as heck his helmet rolled down to the trail and stopped there. Nothing else about this makes sense though, what was he doing way up there off the trail?
