Quote:
An important Houston-area motocross event is ruined after several motorcycles were stolen before the race. Almost 200 competitors took part in the Houston Holeshot Championship at Rio Bravo Motocross Park. Several of the competitors who had camped out on Friday night woke up to find their motorcycles were stolen.

I'm still waiting to hear a resolution to this... IMO it is a inside job! No one from the outside would be so audacious...

I thought Danny had gates at the entrance (for the evening)... Maybe I'm mistaken...

You can thank the county-look when you pull in next time the nice sidewalks they just laid, makd it real easy to cut through the woods and still hard working peoples . No inside job. Just a bunch of local thugs

Definitely not an inside job, but it is a distant possibility. The surrounding area isn't really a great area and there's really easy access. They've had issues next door at HMP with break-ins, theft and vandalism in the past as well. Both properties are surrounded by trees with easy access from the surrounding neighborhoods, and now they even have a sidewalk that is set far enough away from the road to go unnoticed in the dark. Unfortunately those bikes will probably end up in a surrounding bayou or wooded area trashed and clapped out.

That sucks. Lots of bummed little kids that morning. That place is surrounded by low income neighborhoods which of course leads to a lot of theft. I wouldn't leave my bikes unlocked over night at that place. I won't even walk into a store with my bike in the back of the truck over there.
