As much as I pleaded not gonna happen. I mentioned it again early last season to allow racers on minis in level 3. The powers-that-be said NO.

Don't worry, I know he won't. He doesn't listen to reason even though if he did he could make more money while having a safer environment.

Yes and that closing speed happens in level 2. Another closing speed that gets over looked is mid corner speed between fast ULW racers and level 2 riders which I think is more dangerous than straight line closing speed. I may be biased though.

Dave is right yet again. Last Ride Smart trackday I did at TWS (Texas World Speedway) I was running 2:10 and would nearly pack people in all parts of the corner. Didn't turn out well for some riders when they would change course in the corner or chop the throttle on me.

There are several corners it becomes a pretty serious issue, like the kink going into diamonds edge where I am pinned and lvl 2 riders have been braking for 400 feet.

Complaining or bringing up valid points that you agree with about safety on track?

I don't believe the other orgs allow minis with advanced either. Usually they have a special level for them. It does hurt me to see the fast minis being held up on track which is why I bring it up when I can. But its not my school so I don't make the rules. I just abide by them and make the best of what I can control.

Sportbike track time, arguably one of the biggest orgs in the country allows ULW bikes in level 3. Most people I talk to from other parts of the country all allow ULW bikes in level 3.

I hear what you're saying but that can happen in level 2 too..
Completely different scenario. The 600 took the low line and carried his corner speed through turn one (better rider). Jackass (rider) on the 1000 accelerated through the front straight and then clipped him because he backed off like a (no offense to fast female riders). Not even close to the same thing.

Edit: OK. Closing speed example...I can see that.

They also allow inside passing in lvl2. Their main rule for 2 is 6ft.

Yeah, it's a track day. Pay your money and put up with traffic until after lunch, I love riding with the minis. I'm a senior citizen on a SV, them cats are hauling and will make you a better rider. If you want parity on the track then race.

Quan, respectfully I do not get this. I can run a :52 on a 300 and have to run in level 2, while a liter bike that can barely break 2:00 is in level three.

I wish you guys would reconsider this policy.
