Cycle Gear buying Revzilla

http://www.reuters.com/article/revzi...-idUSL2N15J1QD

Feb 4 U.S. motorcycle store chain Cycle Gear Inc. is close to acquiring RevZilla, a website that sells motorcycle apparel, in deal that would create a company valued at between $400 million and $500 million, including debt, a person familiar with the matter said.

Cyclegear has been really good to me. Lonnie at the Almeda store will always fight for my business. If I need something on short notice and there's a big price discrepancy between the and Revzilla he has never said no to price matching.

prices will stay the same, what WILL change is revzilla will sell cycle gear brands.

However, if CG lets ZLA management stay course, I wouldnt expect any detrimental changes

They'd have to be stupid not to.

I use the Sedici gloves and they are great! Lifetime warranty too. My last pair was 2 years old when a hole finally wore through them on one finger tip. The warranty is supposed to be for manuf defects and not normal wear, but they gave me a free pair anyway!

I hope they keep bucci doing the reviews. The three founders own 100% of that company. They are about to make a killing.

this sucks, since they will now have a presence in state, we will get nailed with sales taxes.

Man cycle gear, everytime I go to try and return things at the almeda store the guy always gives me a hard time and refused to return the last thing I tried to return. My wife bought a lift and it would not work for my bike, tried to explain that but nope, I can't return it. cycle gear

Geez, how many times have you had to return items there? Maybe the guy is just tired of dealing with you?

Twice and they advertise a no hassle return policy. So don't matter if I did it 100 times. When you advertise mo hassle return, it should have been just that. Its printed right on the receipt.

I like my $20 Bilt gloves. And I love Revzilla reviews. Bought a pair of Sena SMH10's from them. Nice. That reminds me, I still have $15 zilla bucks to spend with them.

I bought some POS BILT gauntlets as a "backup" to my Ballistics a couple years ago. Never took off the tags and tried returning back in November. Couldn't find my receipt, but found the email that was over 2 years old....gave me back my full purchase price. I like Cycle Gear, but only use them in a pinch and usually for oil and filters. Motosport for everything else.
