i got admit buff and polish it after a little of wetssanding will bring it out again. I painted my friends gixxer 1100 and had to do some cutting and buffing and came out like a shiny black bike. I like the idea of gold rims, would stick out with the black paint and the plastics will come out if you looking at the rims then the bike. house of pain is right buff it and you might just be happy with that and come out alot cheaper the a whole paint job. seeing you gotta take all the stickers off and then prep the rest of the bike to paint.

just replace the front fender with a carbon fiber one. never have to worry about scratches again. problem solved.
