That's enough to start at least two endurance race teams! Come race with the CMRA and get a hefty discount for level 3.

which other track day organization you and your group would be willing to go with here in TX besides RideSmart?

^^THIS^^ And after you became a licensed racer, you can instruct and earn credits that can be easily sold for $100+

Not entirely true, ridesmart will want you to promote their company for free for a few years and then maybe you'll be allowed to instruct.

We are pretty much open to all options as long as it's well worth it.. I am looking into working on a CMRA license but I feel there are skills still needing perfection

Ahh, maybe is because I've been racing/riding for a while... I've been asked many times to instruct... That's the first time I hear that...

I wanted to get into it, ridesmart told me I haven't promoted the company enough. Not that I'm not good enough or anything based on my skill as a rider. Only mentioned that I hadn't sold enough track days.

ahh in that case I have done my job! I brought many new riders to Ride Smart and I'll continue doing it! That explain why sometimes I go to pay for a TD with Ride Smart and there is a credit in my account. I guess that's a nice way for them to say thanks back...

Incorrect. Check the dates. There are some non CMRA weekends.

Also, Fridays are NOT just for racers, there is a street group, but not recommended for true beginners.

There are weekends that would be a better fit for newer riders versus pre CMRA Friday's street groups.

pretty much with a few sporadic dates....makes me sad...but there is a reason they have lasted through all the BS in the last 8 years.

Weird. I was approached to instruct and hadn't promoted ridesmart at all.

Last year at TWS (Texas World Speedway) they only allowed us to run the mini bikes with the street group. It was a mad house...
This guy in a big bike keeps dragracing me on the straights and parking on the corners for about 3 laps which everytime I get to pass him on the turns he seems to get more upset each time and then he decides to pass me coming in to T6 (kind stuffing me) realizing at the very last second that he was too hot so he grabbed the brakes causing the front wheel to wash out making him crash. The guy went to the left and his bike was right in front of me and the only exit was to go right and off the track...

The ULW bikes are placed where it makes the most sense.

It's easy to fix a situation like that at TWS (Texas World Speedway) if you are a fast ULW rider dealing with that. Simply take hot pit in, wait 30 sec, then go back out.

Maybe I'm just not cool enough. I used to promote the out of ridesmart on social media. Don't really bother after that.

There was also a 'busa nearly crashing in every corner and riding so poorly I was afraid to pass him. Overall better than being a ULW rider in ridesmart lvl2.

That was only for you Dave, LOL! You either didn't ask the right person or your completely full of as Randy Joy handles the instructors, hiring and certification and sets the schedule. We have our own private forum, all track days are put up and we all announce if we are available or not available. And Randy Joy handles all of that, Dave Wonders isn't on that forum. And let me tell ya, he's a joy to work with, no pun intended. Randy is a really great person on and off the track and I know he wouldn't tell you that.

Randy wasn't the problem. It seemed he was all good for me to instruct, then he had me talk with Mr Wonders which is when I was stuck in one of his lectures for close to an hour(not an exaggeration) about how I haven't promoted ridesmart enough.

Randy is great.

Most ridesmart instructors are great.

Riding a ULW bike at lvl 3 pace in lvl2 is not.
