ANybody Hang their Motorcycle/Scooter from their Garage Ceiling

I got a Honda Urban Express that's waiting in line to get worked on, however I need as much garage space as I can.

I can visualize a nice spot in the Garage to hang it, till its ready to be worked on. However, even if i dont ever fix it, it would make for a nice little art piece in my Garage.

It weighs about 130lbs, so was wondering if some kind of pulley sytem would work or some way to hang it and make it easy to get up or down.

Any ideas?

How high is your garage ceiling? Mine is 9ft and I don't get a whole lot of headroom under the ladders hung off hooks screwed into side of ceiling joists.

Maybe you can intergrade a hand crank pallet lift in your garage wall... something that can give you at least 4ft. clearance under the scooter?

TMAX I have a 6:1 sailboat block and tackle that I don't use anymore. It should work for anything under 1000lbs if you're interested I will sell it to you

a friend of mine hangs his Yam WR 250F from his garage ceiling.
Picked up a hydraulic hoist from Harbor Freight. Reinforced the studs some and used extensive strap system. He's out of town this week but I'll take a pic and post asap.

You missed the part where he said it was only 130 lbs. It's really not that hard.
