Back to the "feeling threatened" term... I agree with Bevo. I can honestly say I would not feel threatened until someone got off the bike and approached my car. What the could a fully geared rider do to me while riding or sitting on his bike?

Yup, it's unilateral. Texas recognizes Nevada, but Nevada does not recognize Texas.

It's not about how you or Bevo feel. It's about he felt at that time.

Wrong, it's about what a reasonable person would do in that same situation. Do you honestly believe a jury would believe that the jackass in the truck acted reasonably, or is this a case of road rage?

Take a CHL class, brother

Actually, its about convincing a jury how you felt at the time.

I had a gun pulled on me at a stoplight once when I was 19. I was speeding through traffic and rode this guys for a while... he brake checked me and I whipped around him and cut him off. I hammered the accelerator after that and made some ground, but had to stop because the light was red. The guy pulled up next to me with a .45 pointed right at me talking . I apologized and drove off. After that experience, I kept a double barrel shorty with me for half a year.

I do not agree with the guys actions and pulling a gun. It was not needed. People who get mad and pull guns are in my book... Man up and tell me how you feel. If we have to throw down, so be it. But don't pull a weapon... only pull a weapon if your life is in immediate danger, not an whoopin'.

True and I agree with you about being a especially one on one. This guy in the truck had a couple of guys with him too. But still three on ten if that were to happen isn't a bro. I'll take an whooping all day one on one, three on ten however I'd pull my gun too. Point is, stating the law is one thing, being alive to go home to my family is another. I agree the guy in the truck was just upset and make a stupid mistake and wasn't in a life or death situation especially with the youtube/motard nerd. Just saying if it came down too it and drawing my gun in a situation gets me home to my family and not dead.. I'll take my chances with the legal issues and what not.

I hope you have some deep pockets if you're ever frightened by scary guys sitting on their bikes while you're inside a full sized truck.

You should always pull a rubber gun first just to test the waters. It's a good way to find out if a real gun is needed.

I think the biker deserved it.

I've pulled a gun on a masshole for doing the same thing. It was dark though and he hit the window much louder a few times.

I hate to be the only non-lawyer to notice this but after watching other YT videos nearly every one involving road rage against a "biker" appears to involve crotch rockets or groups of them. This video was not too much different than those... The videos often cut out what ever behavior likely brought negative attention in the first place. I've ridden all over the country for over a decade and can only think of one incident worthy of mention... I have a feeling there is a lot we are not seeing or being told... I suspect there was a lot of obscene gestures and hand waving before it escalated to what was seen.
