Strange Phenomena of Global Warming on Galveston

Rode down to Galveston Wednesday night because I had Thursday and Friday off. Woke up early Thursday morning and took a few pix of a strange phenomenon on the beach called Super Waxing that came ashore and stuck on the jetties and floated in globs. It will also mist up just like the salt and get into your engine. Gets on your tires and it's slippery just like riding on ice. Super Waxing is caused by global warming because of trapped solar G4a radiation. G4a is the third constituent of UV4b that catalyzes certain paraffin wax molecules creating a weak bond. The result is ocean wax molecules start coagulating and forming crystalline “ice like” structures on the shore. Super Waxing is the result of components from hairspray and the paraffin base in make-up that washes off of female swimmers, reconstituting and coming ashore in local areas. Man-made climate change plus man-made chemicals equals unnatural results.

You sure that's not just old fashioned sea foam? I googled Super Waxing and nothing came up for what you just described.

Yeah pick any bike forum on the interwebs and post the ride in the "off-topic" section.

You're welcome

It's Ironic that your post is off topic as and is pointing out that I posted something non-moto related on a moto forum...kind of like 98% of your threads.

It'd be a really good one if you could stay on the topic of global warming and quit derailing threads/trolling.

It appears to have been off topic (Moto Related) from the start, Mr. Pot

Right but you seem to be getting separate threads mixed up with the entire forum. The whole reason there are threads is to keep from just being a free for all clusterfuck, like you have turned this thread into. Here I found a good place for you to start posting:

Dude, the discussion in this thread is "global warming phenomenon in Galveston" not "where's a good place to post a motorcycle ride in a bike forum"

NOT !!!!

I'm warning guys (including non male riders) to be careful on the slippery wax and also keep it out of your engine.

So- Moto-Related:

1) Be careful when riding in Super Waxing conditions.
2) After riding in Super Wax conditions, be sure and change your filter
and clean your tires. Should probably clean that gunk off of your
piston return springs too.
3) The only non-moto-related point: girls- clean that out of your hair
and off of your face before you pollute our beautiful beach on Galveston.
