Indian and Jack Daniels team up to create limited edition Chief Vintage
The only time bikes and booze should mix
INDIAN has just released pictures of this Chief Vintage, which its created with Jack Daniels to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the distillery.
This first-in-the-series bike will be sold at a charity auction in October, with the proceeds going to a charity that helps US military personal
The JD Indian Chief Vintage's fender is inscribed with the names of the seven master distillers who have overseen the Jack Daniel’s distilling process over its 150-year history. The final customisation work has been designed and completed by Brian Klock and his Klock Werks team.
Even though this bike is being auctioned, Indian plans to produce the Jack Daniel’s Indian Chief Vintage in very limited quantities, along with a plethora of Jack Daniel’s-inspired accessories.
Additional details on the production schedule and ordering process will be released during Daytona bike week (March 4 - 13), as will information about its availability outside of the USA. Tough luck if you live in France though, because it’s not going to be available there.
The JD Indian Chief Vintage will be officially unveiled and displayed at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Collector Car Auction from January 23-31, before being shown at Dayton bike week, and then on to Las Vegas, where it’ll be auctioned at the start of October.
Money raised from the charity auction will be donated to support 'Operation Ride Home', a partnership between the Jack Daniel's Distillery and the Armed Services YMCA that provides funding and travel assistance to help junior military personnel spend time with their families during the holiday season.
