Ducati unveil draXter concept bike
Supertrick XDiavel on display at Motor Bike Expo in Verona
DUCATI has used the Motor Bike Expo in Verona to unveil the draXter – a sports interpretation of the new XDiavel.
The draXter is a styling project by the Advanced Design arm of Ducati’s in-house design team, the Ducati Design Centre.
It look like an XDiavel that's been blinged up with an unlimited budget because it's been given the crème de la crème of premium parts - the suspension and brakes are straight off the Panigale WSBK bike. The monstrous-looking Termignoni exhaust cans exit the underside of the bike like a pair of giant tusks and the draXster also has different wheels.
The standard XDiavel doesn’t exactly look like shy kind of bike, but Ducati’s designers have accentuated its lines by binning the headlight and adding a more upturned, sharper tail unit.
The number 90 on the is a node to Ducati's 90th anniversary, being celebrated this year.
