That’s weird....The suspension and geometry was right on. I could have done a few tweeks if I wanted to get real serious, but I was very surprised how well the bike felt the first time I went out there. I need to drop a tooth or 2 in the rear though. Now I really want to train MSRH.

But this time I'm going to take it easy till I get some good seat time in. After being away fromt he track for a few years. I'm going to spend the rest of this year getting as much seat time in as possible and probably do a few endurance races before the season is over. Get myself ready to fling rubber boogers next year.

I'd like to do the last sprint at TWS (Texas World Speedway) this year. Just sux that they will seed me at like 45th lol!!!

He says he has been away from the track for a few years. So when was the last time he ran 51's - 52's at TWS (Texas World Speedway)? If it's been a few years, he could now be running 2 minute plus lap times there. a few years could be 10 years ago

I'll be there, be happy to tow you around for a few laps. Buck, Larry, and Bill will be there to help out. You just have to ask.

I was taught in school, a few means 2..... but in this case I should have said several. If you guys want to look me up in CMRA....I started in either 2003 or 2004 at Oak Hill. 503 Mark Anderson. First time for me to touch that track and I was seeded like 38th or so........ in each class......... I raced superstock B,C supersport B,C. You guys can look up my results. I won't get into why I didn’t finish that season or keep racing but I will say I had some major problems with a local shop. I also weighed 235lbs back then. I've dropped down to 208 an plan to go lower. How much do you guys weigh? Also I'm planning to race a 636 next year which should improve a few things.

mid of 4th i think sir. Larry and I talked all about it at work. He and his buddy wrecked there their first time out there too. That one of the toughest turns to get down in Texas IMO. I aleady stated all of this in other threads. I made that turn my mission of the day cause I felt if I could get that one down.... I could pick up the rest of the turns fast. Braking into that backside chicane is going to take a lil practice for me too. Reminds me a lil bit of Cressents crazy chicane. (IMO what were they thinking when the paved that !?!?) Haven't been there in forever....

The thing is now...... I need alot of seat time before I get caught up pushing myself hard again. I still think I have the mind set that I have the eye/wrist... response and reflex skills I used to. (But I don't) I'm close..... but honestly I need 3 months of solid practice to be the same again. I can kick some for a while but I can easily make a mistake. I think you guys can understand that.

The first 2 sessions were wet and I was all over the place looking for bumps, transitions in the patches, and how my bike as a whole was feeling. I wasn't worrying about fastest lines yet. MSR-H I found is so flat too. 3rd I went out for some fun and started playing around and testing some lines and following people. 4th The track dried up and I found the race line and my bike handled great on it. I was planning to bring it in and start working with Mulatto but then I took turn #1 4 feet from the wall and 2 feet too early from my turn in point at the speed I was going. I flicked it in as hard as possible but I apexed early and of course was running wide. I saw the tires and knew the grass was very soggy so instead of standing it up..... I went for more angle. Concluding.......the front got the best of meh.....
