DPS has announced an arrest in the Saturday morning hit and run death of 18-year-old Tamon Arence Willis of New Caney.

The suspect is identified as Eric Bryan Ellison 35, of Crosby.* He is charged with Failure to stop and render aid causing death ( Felony).

Additional information will be posted shortly.

My guess is he was drunk, on drugs, or had drugs in the car at the time of the crash. What's worse, a DWI crash or hit and run?

Morally or legally?

Dude could have lived if this guy would have stopped and done something.

Morally, it's obviously better if he stopped and rendered aid. Legally, I think hit and run should also be much worse. Too many people flee the seen just to avoid a DWI or drug charge.
