should I shower with my 1PC, so its streatches.

So today I had a discussion with a friend about my 1pc suit being a little tight when I pick up my arms or try to lean into a angle. He suggested that I take a shower with the suit on and then go for a long ride. " the leather will stretch and fit better after that." I thought it was a crazy idea but who knows. WE all are a little crazy.
Interested in hearing the feadback debate this one is going to cause.

This

I'm a big guy, no matter which way I roll the dice. I have to work out and eat right to fit in mine. It kind of keeps me on track.

I've done it with gloves. Problem is that you have to move the leather a lot after it dries because it's so stiff. Guess you could always use neatsfoot oil to limber it back up.

Why don't you just wear it on the weekends while you are lounging around the house? Every few hours slather some conditioner on like you are putting on sun block... sure it may sound weird, but I've done this in the past to break in my leathers. Just don't forget that you are wearing it if you decide to do yard work... neighbors will think you are a quack then

That might work if he lounge around the house in full tuck position.

Seriously, if you bought the correct size, you should not need to stretch it much. It shouldn't be so tight as to restrict normal riding movement. These suits are cut with the right bends for the typical sportbike riding posture. It should actually be the most relaxed in riding position.

Are you wearing an undersuit? If not, that will help a whole lot. I almost cannot climb out of my 1pc leathers without the slippery undersuit.

The get wet and stretch thing does work, but shouldn't be necessary.

Once you get leather THAT wet it sucks I wouldn't do it. sometimes it never gets back to the right shape.

This right here

But, if you are trying to loosen them up all together, try the lounging around the house thing. It really does work.

I wouldn't especially if it's cow hide. Cangaroo, maybe. Get leather softener spray and put it on. Let it soak into leather and it will be more pliable. Putting water on cow hide will stiffen it and will make it suceptible to cracking.

Make sure your colored leathers don't bleed, or else you'll end up staining your furniture.
