It's not my responsibility to educate you stupid on what the law is. I referenced Penal Codes. If your to stupid to know what words are and what they mean when there put together... well I can't help you illiterate there. Just know this, If any punk tries to or does steal my consider the fact that you will know what happens after death because I will use my legal right to use deadly force to stop you. So go! Go out and steal that's not yours. You just better pray to your that that person is not me or my neighbors!

FZ1, you are ignorant of the law. Let me tell you something, my wife is a CHL (now LTC) instructor. She is HIGHLY educated in the justified use of force and deadly force. You are flat out wrong in what you are saying, and calling us all a bunch of ignorant makes you look even dumber than the first time you said anything on the subject. There are certain specific cases in which you are authorized by law to use deadly force, none of which applies to what you are saying. You are reading the quoted statutes incorrectly.
Had the OP caught the criminals in the act of theft during the night time, then they MAY have been able to use deadly force to stop them, BUT there are even conditions to that defense. First and formost is that it must be immediate or in fresh pursit, which means RIGHT NOW, not days later. Second, you can't go looking for them and instigate the confrontation with the initial act of using force or deadly force.

FZ1 does not get it. He thinks he can be the judge, jury, and executioner days after a theft. Sorry it does not work that way.

Something that has not been said is: what if the bad guy shoots back?
Taking another persons life is not the same as on tv there is the fact you have to live with: that you took another human beings life no matter how horrible they are

Shot one while coming at him and chucked a TV while entering Joe's property. Shot the other after he turned towards Joe with a crowbar. Joe shot and missed crook turned and fled. Joe shot him as he turned. And ya he got away with it.
Joe was stupid to put himself in that situation and could have ended badly for him but the circumstances changed when they went towards Joe on his property.

Yup, because he was trying to prevent a robbery. He didn't go to someone else's property days later and shoot them while they were riding dirt bikes in their yard.

You sure did, but you do not understand them. What's your highest level of education? If you have a CHL and when it's time for renewal, pay attention in class
