Dirt Bikes Stolen- Conroe, TX

Alright motorcycle family, needing some help tracking down some motorcycles. Got some Missouri friends that came down to enjoy our beautiful weather and dirt bike riding. Their truck, trailer, bikes and everything else were stolen overnight near Conroe. The items were stolen from the Fairfield Inn, off 45 in Conroe, last night. They came out this morning to all of their stuff missing. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Truck- 2005 F350 Lariat, 200100 miles, VIN 1FTWW31P65ED21587

Trailer- 2005 Doolittle 7x16 V-Nose trailer, VIN 1DGCS16275M062166

Dirt Bikes- 2016 KX450, 2016 KX260, 2015 KX450, 2015 KX85, 2012 RMZ460, and YZ450

Dude, wtf!!!? That's pretty as it is, but being a fellow team green guru I'm floored. I hope they get their back. I'll start checking vins at the track on all the graphic-less bikes, lol.

There is a group of pro thieves that is always stealing truck trailer combos. They would get emptied & dumped almost weekly behind our old shop. Got them on camera several times but could never get the cops to do anything proactive.

We started opening glove boxes & calling the people on the insurance cards when we found the trucks in the morning. At least keep the victims from having to pay towing & storage. Often we called them before they even knew it was missing.

It may be a long shot but if you cruise that old neighborhood you might get lucky & at least get your vehicle back.

Eppes st just south of 610. They love dumping in the dead end street.

Bikes Found

See below comments from the owner. Good outcome to the post on Houston Bike Nights, on Facebook.

"Just want to update everyone.. Thank you so much for your comments and thoughts and your sharing my post. You guys are the best ever.. We recovered all the bikes, the trailer and the boys bicycles.. The truck.. All my tools and a few other items are gone but I am very relieved and feel very blessed to have recovered what I did. It's all because of you guys.. Someone seen the Facebook post and seen them riding the bikes in their yard and called the cops and contacted several of us personally with the address where our stuff was sitting.. Without you guys we would be in a really bad spot. Just goes to show how close the motox community is.. We love all you guys and owe you guys big time.. Happy New Year!!"

if someone stole my and I found out where they lived I would only call the cops after I went in guns a blazing to retrieve my property. Death for theft is cheaper than time served and they won't be stealing people's anymore! And yes I have a legal right to do so.

I don't have a problem with you using deadly force to retrieve your property from land that doesn't belong to you, but the State might. Just sayin'

Cops can't shoot someone for fleeing but you think you can when they're on their own property? Be my guest. It will make for a good story

Let me guess " better be tried by 12 than carried by 6"? Everyone claims that until they are in the hot seat facing prison time over property than can be replaced.
