Mount and balance tires

What's a good shop on the south side to get some tires mounted and balanced without scratching up the wheels?

Texas Yamaha in Webster has a touchless tire change machine. Worth the slightly higher price for tires for me. Lonnie at Cycle Gear Almeda is super careful with rims, but it' or miss on whether or not he'll be changing tires on a given day.

There was a girl at the Cycle Gear at Almeda, forget her name, who did my front tire with no issue. Would go there again.

What do they charge for putting on the tire ride in and out if you buy the tire there?

Can't speak for ride in and out, but they were about $15-20 higher than CG for a mounted and balanced Michelin PP3 180/55-17 when I took them the rim. That was about this time last year. CG just went up on their mount and balance. I think it's $32 OTD per wheel.

Kawasaki of Pasadena took care of my SV650 wheels ($110 for mount/balance with 90 degree valve stems).

+1 I am on the NW side, haven't paid to have tires changed in Many Many Years. Nothing like doing it yourself and "KNOWING" how it was done.

Tires been done for days. No need to worry about it any more.

I am so sorry I've not done them myself.
Perhaps I will do the next set on my own. :-)

Thanks again folks.
