Box of Buell Blast for $600 a piece.

Not mine...

https://austin.craigslist.org/mcy/5342326638.html

Post...

I have a 40' Shipping container full of Buell Blast 500 Motorcycles. These motorcycles were used by Harley Dealers for their Learn to Ride Program. Most of these never made it out of 2nd gear. All have less than 2000 miles. None currently run. All have been sitting.

Price is $1000 each if you want to cherry pick, $600 each if you take them all. All have titles or MSO's.

Besides being ugly and slow, what is the problem? Were they incredibly unreliable or something? 600 for a bike would be a great deal for someone starting out. I've paid more than that for a jacket.

Price is $1,000 firm though for a non running bike so not a great deal. You only get for $600 if you buy all dozen or more of them.

IF they came from a riders edge program, may have transmission issues-these were notorious for this. sorry to rain on someones parade, but may take the whole container full to make 1 or 2 running bikes.

For a first time bike these are good bikes. I heard the transmission issue wasn't really the transmission itself but the primary chain had a plastic tension piece or something and would strip or wear through easily if adjusted too tight. Mine was great for the year I had it. I put around 6k miles on it I think. Got around 90 something miles to the two gallon tank. Its a small bike don't get me wrong, but great on gas, cheap, and easy to work on.

Reading it again I agree. I thought it was 600 for a one and 1000 if you pull a Bevo. He shouldn't have said handpick.

Tojo you have always had a google-craigslist fung shui but with this last pick up it looks like you have a problem. First step of recovery is admitting their is a problem.

I bought one locally from the riders edge and drove it off the lot for $600. Banged up a bit but it's a good bike for a beginner .
