suunday tribute rides

hey peeps, the other day i was rinding with will (a303), and we went to see rogers site, and we were talking that it would be cool to get a sunday tribute ride for all of our lost riders, such as meeting up one sunday every month, and ride to each site where our lost friends and loved ones have laid to rest, then after wards have a bbq or something to pay our respects even more. so what do you all think, post up your thoughts

well i see all these views,on this thread, and no posts, i guess they all just dont care about fellow riders that we lost, they are friends, and also family. but most these peeps probly just come along to ride with everybody. but this is a thread for people who are interested in riding on a sunday of every month to pay our respects to our fallen riders and to let them know they are not forgotten.

ride for the tribute is great but going to the site is another thing. Going every month is dedication. Most people just wanna ride. Many don't want to relive their sorrow. Out of sight is out of mind.

Once a month? I sure hope we don't loose that mant folks where we would have to have a tribute ride once a month? I would say once a year anything more than that would be depressing! That is my take on it?

How many have we lost this year?

well its not about going to a site and feeling sorry, its all about going there and letting them know they're not forgotten. i think once a month is fine as to once a year,i mean if it was one of your loved ones would you just go once a year or what? if so i feel sorry for you. because you cant replace a lost loved one,and i dont care what you sya there is not enough times you can go to thier site and pay respects. but its just my thoughts, and to LEVEL 5 you're right people just want to ride, well they can ride their where ever they want, this is a ride to show love for our riders who went down, and are looking down on us.

Tell me about it!! I lost one of my closest friends in Roman! I hope and pray we don't loose anymore this year! I don't think any of us could handle doing a monthly tribute! I took me two months to get out on the road since Eric's death. Yearly would be hard enough for us! I think about Eric everyday and especially everytime I get on the bike! I wouldn't be half the rider I am w/o him and I will never forget him!!

A ride to remember the fallen would be cool. Just keep it posted in the evenys section so evry body who wants to participate can see it.

+1 on that one! I rode by his crash site the other night and every time I roll over that spot, my mind goes blank, i slow down, and give him a nice loud salute. I remember that night like it was yesterday everytime i go by there!!!

I personally am down for an ANNUAL event, monthly is asking a lot. 1 HUGE annual event is what most cities do!
