50 timing

ok i just put a new bore kit on my 50 and i got it all back together but i know something isnt right about the timing. if anybody could explain how to set the timing that would be great. i googled it and it says to have the t on the flywheel at 12 and the front sprocket where the o is lined with the gash in the motor. i did that but one of my problems is that while i was dealing with the cam i think i may have spun it or something. now im scared to kick it because i dont want to mess anything up. any help would be greatly aprreciated

kind of tricky to get the gear and the chain right, make sur you torque those cam bolts, maybe blue lock-tite, they will back out

oh yeah, turn the flywheel SLOW with your hand, if the vavles are touching the piston it will stop turning, dont force it(you wil bend valves.

If you kick that and the timing is off you'll bend a valve or worse. . .

what are the factory valve clearences? did you even check them? if it's tapping shut it down and check it out. . .it's an easy job on that bike, and well worth the damage it could cause. you can probably find that info on 50stunt or planetmini's, I'm too lazy to check right now
