Hmmm.. Good point. I'll catch up with Debbie and find out if we want to change the ladies ride as well. I haven't been to the East side in a while.. I was hoping the West side would have dried up a little over the week..

We're heading to the east side right now. We're putting in at the 233 frail head.

I'd be doing the same if I didn't have this 'work' situation today... enjoy the trails! I'll be there tomorrow.

We have an ODODB ride tomorrow afternoon at 12:30 east side, right after the Texas Trails Coalition meeting at the SHNF rangers station. Check out other rides on the ODODB calendar.

The east side were GREAT today. It was our first time out and it was a lot of fun. I only managed to smack into one tree, lol. Those roots are serious out there! Tire slipped on one as I tried to wheelie through a section and it launched me. We rode lake loop, sandy, zebra, ycc and fern. FYI, Zebra was the wettest of them but nothing too bad. All in all it was a fun day, something new.

Bahahaha, I wish there was. The only guy with a go pro was in front of me. My roommate got a front row seat right behind me though and I'm pretty sure there's a gas cap imprint on my junk.

The SHNF roads we perfect last Saturday morning, I rode them and they were packed down like cement, BUT they had some heavy rains out there Saturday afternoon and bet those same roads were slippery as heck now. You could still ride them, just not at any comfort zone till they dry up a bit.

I gotcha. My cousin and I planned on doing a ride out there the weekend of New Years and I didn't know what to expect.

There's lots of dirt roads out that way, you should post it up on TWT or ODODB sites and might get some of the regulars to lead you on a good dirt road ride such as the Cheeseburger run.
