Ducati introduces the XDiavel in Milan
Feetforward cruiser unveiled at Ducatis preEicma press event
The Ducati XDiavel has just debuted in Milan.
The XDiavel is a long, low feet-forward cruiser with a belt drive - a first for Ducati.
The Testastretta DVT 1262cc engine delivers its maximum 95 lb/ft torque at 5,000rpm.
Claudio Domenicali says the bike has 60 possible ergonomic combinations with all the accessories on offer and that it can lean to a claimed 40 degrees, which is only one degree less than the standard Diavel.
It uses a 240 section rear tyre and the suspension is adjustable front and rear.
Stopping is handled by Brembo monoblocs.
It's got launch control called DPL - Ducati Power Launch. Push it, and the bike goes into a softer power mode for the initial launch which is meant to help it get the best possible drive from a standstill.
More information and pictures as soon as they're available.
