Thats gross but i just bought me a glock .40 model 23 and I LOVE IT!! Shoots really nice and is really accurate! Not too bulky either...

I didnt want the baby glock. I have a larger hand than normal so my hand hangs too far off of it but the 23 fits like a glove in my hand!

Got mine the day I turned 21. Good idea IMO.
And +1 on the XD, I carry the sub-compact nine. Great choice

Not to argue, but I picked up my XD .45 Combo Pack there for $498.95;

4" .45 ACP pistol, 2 - 13 round mags, speed loader and holster.

I saw some 4" XD .40's there 2 weeks ago for $479.95.

However, if dvl can get them for what he's offering, I'd recommend taking him up on his offer.

Lastly, FWIW, if it's meant as a defense weapon, I'd recommend using a caliber that starts with a 4.

Just as I come into town near 59 and go over the rail road tracks at the light I catch up to two cruisers, I am on my cruiser so I fall into formation and ride along behind them, there are three of us so that puts me on the inside of the lane, you all know the formation. Well the rider in front and to my right decides he needed to spit his mucus laden saliva to his LEFT in ****ing front of me, we were going about 25-30mph and I am at a safe riding distance with my shield up, I had no time to react, I could just see those hundreds of little droplets of spit coming towards me because it was not one of those ones that stays together and hits the ground, NO, he showers this spit wad and then I go riding into it.

Now then people, you tell me why I dislike HD riders. Fact is I have never been spit on my any other rider, today though I was by a guy wearing a denim shirt with the sleeves cut off with an eagle and harley davidson embroidered on the back and no helmet of course. Yeah I am a little ticked off. Did he see me? He should have because I was right there behind them waiting for the light to turn green and rode with them another half mile before being spit on.

**** um, **** um all because the majority still prove to be dicks.

The guns were nice. Looking into the XD. Can't decided on the 3" or 4".
more than likely he didnt see you, like you said, he was an inbred redneck that was riding oblivious to his surroundings.
On the other hand, next time, I'll bet you learn to not ride so close, especially to inbreds you don't know.
take it as a lesson learned.

only reason why i would not carry a glock is "no safety" . xd-40 sub-compact is what i carry.
