i just laugh, it kinda like: better to let people think you're a squid than to rev your bike to redline for 10 seconds and prove you are

Im just wondering, do any of you do this? I see it happen quite often and i dont understand why! It sounds like , makes you look like a squid and it cant be good for the bike!

I rev mine every now and then (not too often as there is really no point in it) but never to red line so everyone can hear it bounce up and down on the limiter like some of these guys do before they finally let the throttle go. lol And you know its done purposely because they do it over and over and hold it there for awhile.

So please... if you are one of these red line bouncers, please let me know why you do it? Do you think it sounds good or looks cool? If thats the case, get off the drugs!
Lol, I do the shyt sometimes. Most times because I don't want my bike cold when I hop by on after having it sitting for a while, so it's in attempts to speed warm it. Now I don't know about the "holding it at redline" or even the slightly less, but still stupid practice of "reving it to the limiter" but as no mercy said... um, let em do it and it makes for cheaper parts later. Besides, each his own...all this worrying about other folks stuff is gettin a lil played...
