I'll be coming one of the two days. Not sure if it'll be Saturday or Sunday. I think I'll opt for whichever ride is slower paced this time because if everything goes according to plan I'll be riding 2 up

If rccarlson22 is planning on trailering tomorrow, I'll try to show.

rccarlson22, PM me your number so we can coordinate with each other.

I'm also considering trailering nothing certain yet. It would be on Sunday. Bike needs a little bit of TLC, having an issue with a rearset I've gotta hammer out beforehand. Hopefully I get a chance to look at it tomorrow

Edit: Since Morgstang's ride starts kinda late in the day, I can also take you guys the fun way out of SE-land if you prefer. It would make for a long day but we'd be riding twisties all the way to Waller. Actually I think this my preferred option. It will take us ~2 hours to go from Alvin to Waller the fun way, so we'd KSU around 8:00. If we make good time then we can sprint out to Fayetteville and slab back to Waller.

Riding in a straight line on a bike is more fun than in a car/truck (zzzzz)... and you'll get there quicker too. According to your map 2 hours quicker.

Ive added another section to the Sunday ride...the original ride was only going to be about an hour and a half to Yankees...now it would be about 2 1/2 hrs...we can discuss it Sunday and see what the group wants to do...i have so many variations we can do it makes no difference to me...the ride will be over at Yankees so everyone will need to make there own way back...i will go back hwy 3090 to Navasota and take hwy 105 back to Brenham...if we need to start earlier than 10:30 post up here...its supposed to be high 40's for the low sat night...i wasnt sure the cold tolerence of those coming so i made it a little later...

For the sat riders we can also start earlier if you want...please post your thoughts here so everyone will see...if everyone is happy as is we will stay as scheduled...
Anyone having additional questions please PM me and i can give you my phone number if needed...

I couldn't possibly disagree more, and we definitely will not take the full 3+ hours to get there

Maybe if I rode a sport tourer or, dare I say, a scooter...

This trailering talk is bewildering.

Consider you'll be riding Sunday morning...
real early on the Highway...
and there will hardly be a car in sight!!!

oh yeah id love to see Bevo unload a trailer at Buccees.

Houston is a whole beast of its own. To drive/ride from Galveston to Spring/Brenham is a of a trip. I can certainly tell you if I do that ride, by the time I arrive to the meeting area to start the actual ride... I'd be hurting. What's wrong with a nice comfortable ride there, unload the bikes, and then start nice and fresh?
