I bought a WR (what repairs?) for a reason.

8 hours on changing pistons? in my 22 years of riding dirtbikes, ive never even done that on a 2 stroke. that's absurd and terrible misinformation. No idea who said that, but they should be punted.

if you change the fluids and keep it maintained, the bike will run for a long time. Naturally single cylinders will have a shorter life span than almost anything else but they are a lot cheaper as well unless you buy a KTM or Husky etc etc.

maintenance is the big thing. people love to about how crappy their bike was AFTER the neglect it.

also, if you convert to a motard get cush drive on the rear. Its cheaper than a transmission, and I feel like you can blame transmission failure on the bike because of the way its designed.

I love my tard, and ill never go without one. ever again.
