I didn't say this but.... (Moody's right, there's no one there to enforce it, but that doesn't mean no one will ever check. Especially if you act like you belong there. I.e., don't mess up, don't give anyone a hard time, and be courteous to the karters 'cause you never know who is who!)

wish I had a motard / dual sport, it'll be next

you know I've lived in katy for 5 years now and have never been out there.
I'm gonna have to check it out, the thing I'm afraid of is wanting to pick up yet another expensive hobby

I haven't even been there yet but ridden friends' mini bikes and saw pics and got hooked. Next thing I know, the xr100 I always wanted for scooting around on my parent's 140 acres is bought but will slowly be converted into a mini motard. Go figure.

Maybe, after the guys beat me over and over again, I'll come to my senses and convert it back to dirt and use it what it was originally inteded for and save my money. :laughing6

I could just leave the knobbie tires on my xr100 and they can let us run the dirt track. :laughing6

cool thanks!

to start I imagine the budget would be pretty low. I'll have to talk to the accounts payable department [my wife] :laughing6

my wifes cousin has an xr100, that may be a pretty good starting platform huh?
I'd be looking to get something for a couple hundred bucks

what type of gear do the require? full leather?

I am really looking forward to this getting completed. On the prilla the old track was just really tight and almost hard to ride. That track just kicked my on that bike. I loved going to Dayton with the bike though. I have a feeling if it is going to be a little more open, the 50 will be more fun to ride against the smaller wheel bikes. I may have to see about gettin the team back together for the remainder of the season.

Tom.... YOu in? We will need a third... See if we can bring Tim out of retirement and win another class championship...

'Fer shur!

I agree that it would be a lot better for the big wheel fiddy on the new track. The old track isn't too friendly to them...
