Actually had a guy making fun of me two days ago at work for wearing helmet/jacket/gloves..... He was like, "you only live a few miles away".. I shook my head at his ignorance.

Yep. I live 2.6 mile from work, our new Harley riders ask me why I don't ride in like they do, sometimes. I replied that it takes me longer to put my gear on and take it off then it does to make the 5 minute ride. Their reply (with goofy looks) is "just put your helmet on and go, it just 3 miles"
