haha. dang.

look no one was right.

you aren't supposed to occupy the same space/lane as another vehicle and you are not supposed to be doing wheelies on the freeway, and you are definately not supposed to vandalize and shoot other peoples' property.

DO you think they don't have timestamps, and can't 'track' to find the video of when the bikes passed through the toll location?

"Nuerotic huh? You want to start name calling just because you can't win a simple debate? "
Kind of a hyprocritical statement there isn't it Den... "Rightous Bull"?

"I think you need to go out and ride more. And when some idiot in a car runs you over you're gonna wish that someone like me was there to back you up. Or maybe I could just stand over you and tell you how it was your fault. "

Gee Maybe Den... I mean I'm only averaging between 1.5 and 2k+ miles a month and I haven't driven my car since March. :-)
Me calling your statements righteous BS and you calling me neurotic is totally different. Whatever. You guys stick to your innocent driver theory.

On the other hand, maybe everyone who read the story learned a lesson. Bikes: Don't shoot at cars .... Cars: Don't fck with bikes or you might get shot.

nobody said it was right, just reality.

the stereotype is based in reality.

What is your definition of 'blocking the freeway'?

There's no law that says bikes must ride in formation. And if you think that people always move over for faster traffic behind them then I've got a suprise for you.

Let me break this down for you guys who aren't understanding me:
Yes, it's inconsiderate for a group to take up all the lanes on a highway. However, do you really want everyone out there to get the idea that they can just cut through because they 'think' their path is being blocked? I mean let's get a grip on what we're arguing here.

Trust me, I know how you feel. I got harassed by the cops all the time because I am on the sportbike. Everytime that I got pulled over they always think that I would try to run. The bad thing is they never turn on the siren and expect me to look back all the time.

To you it is, to me it's not that dissimilar

We haven't claimed the driver is innocent.. we've simply stated we don't have the information needed to make an accurate judgement.

It was not several bikes running at different speed, They moved, and worked as a group...a pack, effectively(?) creating a moving roadblock, therefore creating an impedment to traffic. We do & have seen cards/trucks do the same thing... and occasionaly do see reports of road rage related incidents on the news. They don't typicaly involve a 'pack' of individuals.

I never said there was any conspiracy(<- correct spelling).

IF you want to assume that the video matches this incident. - The vehicles in the s.bound lane were traveling at the same rate as the n.bound lane and they weren't 'blocked' by anyone. Since the speed limit is 60mph I'm gonna assume everyone in the video was doing ~60mph.

I've heard all these arguments before in another thread, go read those before you try again.

Kinda unrelated, but this morning on my way to work, down 288, a lady in a big- Nissan Armando came across the three left lanes and just about took me out.

When I pulled up next to her I looked at her and shrugged my shoulders like :dontknow: and she gave me the "I KNOW YOU DI'INT" neck snap and flipped me off while laying on her horn.

I passed her up and exited, got in the far-right turn-only lane, and when I checked my mirrors, here she is barreling down the exit ramp RIGHT on my . She stopped about 6" from my rear tire, honked some more and then veered back to the left and back onto the 288 on ramp.

Some people just think they are entitled to the whole roadway. I did nothing wrong and this lady got mad at me just for giving her a look. She's the one who almost took me out.

Now, if it had been a male driver and he plowed me then took off, I'd expect my friends to chase him down and beat it out of him.

I take that back. I wouldn't expect it of my friends, I just know that's what they'd do. Some cagers deserve it.

I really wanted to kick her mirrors off!

Both.

Ride To Live. Live to Ride.

Ride to live...like i ride to get that enjoyment and freedom.
Live to ride...i make sure I wake up so I can ride again.

i definately don't want to die. I have too much to live for, plus I just got to my level, and why would I ever want to give that up. It just gets better from here.

now where's that UPS man? I want my parts!
