MotoGP: Jorge Lorenzo Off To A Great Start In Valencia

As usual, Jorge Lorenzo doesn’t waste any time. The Movistar Yamaha made sure to top the timesheets on day one of the MotoGP season finale in Valencia, Spain. It was a 1:31.111 set towards the end of a hotly contested afternoon session that landed him there; .139 of second better than his compatriot Marc Marquez on the Repsol Honda.
Although Rossi’s grid position has already been set, the Italian is looking to get a fast start and stay on pace to make sure he is ready to charge through the pack on Sunday. He ended the day .364 of a second off of his championship rival Lorenzo.
The times as a whole are close, with the top 12 within a second of the leader. Will be interesting to see what tomorrow’s qualifying brings…
