Rider Down: 59N

drove by a motorcycle accident on my way home from work at 11:30pm. rider was down on 59 north at the 45 split. there were other riders pulled over with him/her at the time. no ambulance or police were at the scene when i passed by.

just an fyi for anyone who may know someone out riding tonight.

That's why I can't wait till the winter, best time to ride, less bikes out...I'm talkin 40's and 50's...only thing that sucks about winter riding is the amount of time you have to wait to let your tires warm...otherwise, Winter is beautiful

Yeah, in MN I was riding in November when it was in the high 20's low 30's. My tires hated it, and I always got home all pink around the neck and had helmet fog issues. I was in heaven when I moved here later that month.

Yep, used to be that way when I was in Oklahoma, throw on a sweater under your jacket and som'n with a hoodie n hit the road. I'm ALWAYS down...BEST time to ride I swear (just be sure to keep some chapstick handy)

I hope that person is okay and learned a valuable lesson.:eh: Wednesday nights is the worst night for some reason. It has bad luck and cops written all over it.
