Motorcycles Unlimited just threw some M3's on my bike a few hours ago. Hope they're as good as people say.

Alot seem to like the M3's!

Well if this PP 2CT thing doesnt blow over pretty quick, i think i might just sacrifice and get the 190/50/17 M3.

Cant be any worse than the qualifiers! lol

I didn;t like the M3's at all. But that's just me. Run with the 2ct's or Diablos.

I have a 1000 dude. I run a 180 on the 636 but the 10r comes with the 190 cause it needs it.

doesn't need it only someone who seriously rails needs it. Most of us simple humans prefer the 180 because of the faster turn in you get.

Please explain why it needs it also.

Thanks

BTW not starting anything just think others may benefit from what is said.

Id rather stick with a 190 man. In fact if i went with another size, it would be a 200. I love the look of the wider tires on the bikes. I wont go to a 200 for performance reasons but i definitely want to keep a 190 on it. A 180 would probably work man, your right but why do that if i can get the right tire for it.

I guess yall havent heard about the gen 2 zx10r much. It has WAY MORE THAN ENOUGH TURN IN on the 190/55 as it is. As a matter of fact, alot of people go 190/50 to slow it down a little. The bike wants to dive into turns like it sits right now.

The 180 would be pointless on THIS bike.

I dont any experience with those man.

My buddy has them on his bike and loves them. Not sure how everyone else feels about them though. My buddy doesnt take corners too much. Hes more into stunting so he prob likes them for a different reason. I hear they last for a good while though.

It used to be the best tires out there a few years ago, until Michelin release the PP and Pirelli m1. Dunlop 208 are almost the same as chen shin or worst.

If you have a chicken strip on your tires then it is not worth changing it at all. If you are not seriously railing your machine than the 190/50 is fine or you can run 180/55 but it will look funny for a machine that size to have a tiny shoe.

DOOD! I would not go with M3's... I have used them and the 2CT's on the track and street and the 2CT's are SOOOOO much stickier!

In-light of the recent recall issue, I would go with the Pirelli III's... that is what I'm doing next time...

I do have a set of BRAND NEW BT002 Race/Street in 190/55 120/70 that are praly for sale (if Gonzo doesn't want 'em)... $200 and free mt/balance

Might have to take you up on that deal man. Can i get a couple pics?

Those are really close in performance to the PP and the Pirellis anyway so those would prob be good enough for me. If not, sounds like ill just wait for the PP to clear up that recall mess.

i had m3's on the zx-10r before the diablo 3's and didn't like them at all. they wore fast (less than 2k) heated up way too fast, and got way too hot under even moderately fast street riding. i took a ride out to crabb river and then the forest, and by the end of the day, they were completely blue edge to edge. a typical sign of overheating. they would stick great for a couple turns, and then quickly lose traction.
