I did later in the videos, it's so close to my visor that when I hit the go button it pulls it down a bit, I did fix it for the Sunday videos which will start coming tonight.

Looks like you're pretty quick. I'm trying to get faster myself in the dirt, how much front brake do you use?

Almost all of it at times, it really depends on the terrain and how quick I feel I can go through a given turn. In sand, not much front brake at all, you'll need to use mostly rear but I'm a rear brake rider but lately, I've been using a bit of a different braking technique (if there is such a thing) that really helps me out with using the front brake, just make sure you are finished braking with the front before your bike leaves vertical.

BTW, I give lessons if you need some help.

I appreciate the lessons offer but I'm now living and riding in the high desert of Wyoming. So I get to ride everything from really rocky to really sandy singletrack right from my door. Mix in some mountain riding and I get a bit of everything.

My big problem lately seems to be pushing the front end in sandy banked corners.

Are you on a 250 or 300? All the guys I ride with are mostly on ktm or beta 2 strokes. I'll probably be in the market for one in the spring

I ride the 250SX!

Your issues may either be your front end is set up too soft or more than likely, you're body positioned is too far forward, in sand, position your body towards the rear and when digging through turns, you'll want to have a neutral body position.

I think that event was on the Storrie ranch if memory serves me right, that was a TCCRA race too, I haven't raced that series yet but, I will plan to do at least one next season. TORO is about to kick off there season this weekend for the Winter series, you should try to get to one of those if you can, they're huge, huge as in 4-500 riders at some of the races they have.

Thanks for the offer, and keep checking my post as I try to post up my race plans, this Saturday I am headed to Lafayette, LA to race the last LACC race of their season. Next weekend we should be off to Scipio, OK to race the next round of the TSCEC and BJEC enduro race.

I'll start throwing Sundays race videos up now, my card ran out of memory sometime during the day so I didn't get all 5 test sections recorded, I use a 64gb card and didn't think it was that full yet, it's now clean.

Sunday Test 1 part 1

Sunday Test 1 part 2

Sunday Test 2 part 1

I still have 2 or 3 more files to upload, Test 1 and 2 I took it easy to conserve energy for the long 5.5 hour race day which was a mistake, I will not hold back next time, I lost a lot of time and could have finished on the podium had I not taken someones advice on holding back for the first 2 test sections.

I still had a great time in spite of my poor finish positions, it was the best dirt I've ever ridden, and the best race weekend I have ever had, even better than the weekends that I won my class races. So much fun, I couldn't have had more fun if I spent 1000000000 dollars.

I was a little fatigued from the previous day and I had made several mistakes throughout the day which took up valuable time, I didn't mind still, it was a great weekend of racing.

TORO is having another race there this weekend....

http://www.race-toro.org/flyers/toroflyer1501.pdf

I may just run out there and watch, as my WR is still in Houston.

I *should* be back down there (Houston) on the 14th.

So I can start to around with the 45 and up crowd.... It will take me a week of Sundays at Red River to get back in shape.

If you can get fast riding in the sand and in Bills woods, you'll be perfect..

Well I was going to go rip around and practice a bit out in the desert but mother nature decided to drop some snow. Should be warmed up a bit this weekend and hopefully there will be just enough moisture to be nice and grippy magic sand
