Why the is Iannone out there racing? Shame on him for passing VR, but since he's Italian I guess he gets a free pass

That's not the case if you consider other instances. Like when -rosa purposely torpedo'd (his "senior" team mate) Hayden back in 06'.
It isn't so far fetched that MM while out of the hunt may have felt he still had some skin in the game as far as final outcome of the 15' championship.

If you're allowed on the track then you're allowed to try to cross the finish line first. Sorry if your boy didn't use his head and took himself out of the championship by breaking rules. The race in Malaysia could have been as exciting as the one in Australia but VR had to go and it up way too early and had no one to give him a tow.

No point going to race officials, they see what's going on. They aren't doing anything about it.
It's not because Marquez isn't breaking the rules because he is. He's impeding another rider, one that's in the points chase.

Ask anybody in the pits, other than the Honda pit, why they aren't doing anything, the answer is, everybody knows Dorna is in Honda's pocket.
If rossi was way down in points and Marquez was in the lead, and rossi was obviously slowing him down you'd feel differently about what's happening.

Ah, so it's a Honda/Spanish conspiracy. Two things can slow down MM, a 2015 Honda and another rider running him wide. After he burned off enough fuel, MM would have left VR behind in a 4th place finish just as in Australia.

MM also had the choice after being run wide not to turn back into VR. But he has a history of using his bike for a bumper car. He has come up on the short end twice now trying it with Rossi.

Repsol is the largest sponsor of Moto Gp and also a Spanish company. Dorna isn't stupid and will avoid rocking the boat. However, Repsol has a history of dominating the sport and one of the biggest reasons it is so expensive to field a private team. Just one of the reasons Rossi's move to Yamaha was such a big deal. After Doohan's reign and Rossis on Repsol Honda.
So yes, it is a conspiracy to dominate the sport. They're all "conspiring" just like they conspire to make a profit in most businesses.

I think Rossi's penalty was worse than when MM ran race pace into the rear of another rider after the checkered flag, MM had to start from the back but they didnt take points. He has been a notoriously aggressive rider and this time he got dealt with.....

Rossi up and should have finished 4th and went into the last round 7 points ahead

Quote:
Marc Marquez will have to start from the back of the grid for Sundayís Australian Moto2 race after he caused a horrific high speed collision with Thai rider Ratthapark Wilairot at Phillip Island earlier today.

One minute will be added to the Spaniardís qualifying time after he ploughed into the back of Wilairot at the high speed Turn 3 after the end of this morningís opening free practice session.

The chequered flag had already been waved but the reigning 125GP world champion was still riding close to racing speed, while Wilairot had slowed down. Wilairot didn't even see Marquez when he was struck with a sickening impact and the Thai Honda Singha SAG rider was transferred to a Melbourne hospital with back and knee injuries, but miraculously he suffered no broken bones and escaped serious injury.

I finally got to see some of the laps leading up to MM's crash. He was riding like a complete . VR showed more restraint that I would have up to that point.
