why?

why do people do dangerous stunts on bikes and wear little to no protective gear? im just wondering after watching like 15 vids on youtube about stunt crashes, and i hope no one here does it cause it really would be tragic to lose someone to such a pointless death, sometimes helmets are not enough.
to think realisticly whats better? to get hot wearing all that gear, or possibly end up saving you from some serious injurys, im not saying that the gear will make you invincible, but it sure in will help... sorry, it me off to see dumb play with fate like it's nothing.

i call those ppl crash dummies, the pros who do stunting for a living tend to always wear their gear though............. youd think they would do the same

...to each his own...if someone wants to ride without gear, that's only their choice, and I am not going to do a thing to convince them otherwise, anymore.

i personally choose to wrap up in leather and pads, but then I choose to only drive my truck on the streets.

you say that now...... Helmet gloves and maybe a back protector is the norm.

i say that because i know! I watch them stunt all the time. And know there is no way Clayton would be able to do half the stunts he does with gear on.

well like he said, slow stunts are not as dangerous as ummm, like 70 mph rolling burnouts, i know all stunts are dangerous, but there is a difference between 20mph vs. +60mph

Gear is overrated.....:laughing6

No no. On the realz though, we do wear gear when we stunt, but if you decide to get into stunting, you'll find out that too much gear is hindering in what stunts you can and cant do. To each his own, but when I ride, I use a helmet, gloves, back protector, long jeans....
