Yoshi pipe question

I picked up my ZX9R a few weeks back and it has a full Yoshi exhaust system on it but on the pipe is says R & D. I've searched around and can only find pictures of pipes that say Ride Smart-3. I don't know how I like the system cuz it sure has a lot of back pressure (or sounds like it everytime I let off the gas). Anyone know what I got or can point me to an info link? Been to yoshis website and didnt see it either.

Re: Yoshi pipe question

The R&D stands for Research and Development, it's on most, if not all Yosh pipes.
RS3 is the cannister style, designating it's an oval. You can have one of 2 baffles; a race or the Zyclone street baffle.
Look inside your cannister; if the baffle is approximately 1-3/4" i.d. then it's a race. If there's a secondary tube inside of it that's approximately 3/4" i.d. then it's the Zyclone. If you're still unsure come by the shop and one of the guys can look at it real quick for you.

Nap, that's married slang for "afternoon delight", nookie you fool! He was getting some, while you weren't. Don't be jealous.
