Foster's season likely over with Achilles injury
Midway through the fourth quarter of Sunday's 44-26 loss to the Miami Dolphins, Houston Texans running back Arian Foster crumpled to the ground, moments after the snap.*
As Foster was lined up as a receiver, he attempted to release at the snap and his right leg gave out on him and he fell immediately to the ground.
A few minutes later, the Texans announced that Foster was out with an Achilles injury.*
Normally the recovery time for an Achilles injury would extend several months or longer, meaning Foster's season would be over if is an torn Achilles.*
He was helped off the field and immediately placed on the medical cart to head back into the locker room.
Foster finished the game with 59 yards on 18 carries and a touchdown. He also had five receptions for 66 yards and touchdown.
