Personal ads on Craiglist?

Man, sometimes it's so funny just to browse through the personal ads on craiglist. I wonder if these people are serious or they just posting and check reponses for laugh? Anyone on here tried dating on craigslist?

I wonder if craiglist makes any money like any other website? It sure has a lot of people buying and selling on it and other services as well.
