A new recall report filed by Ducati North America affects 869 Multistrada 1200 and 1200 S models.
In the latest recall, a defective support tube could cause the sidestand to break on certain Multistrada 1200 and 1200 S models..
The following report is filed with the NHTSA:
Report Receipt Date: October 9, 2015
NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V637000
Potential Number of Units Affected: 869
Manufacturer: Ducati North America
THE RECALL: Ducati North America (Ducati) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 Multistrada 1200 and 1200 S motorcycles manufactured from December 1, 2014, to June 11, 2015. In the affected motorcycles, the sidestand may break due to an incorrect length of the side-stand support tube.
