The documentry, Road, on Netflix

Wow! A must see a biographical documentary about the Dunlop family of road racers.
Incredible look into two generations of perhaps the best true road racers ever.

Thanks for the heads up. Ever since I saw "Senna" I've been hooked on racing documentaries and films.

Did you see the movie Rush? For me it's a tie between that and Senna for best Motorsport films

Netflix has the Hunt and Lauda documentary too and "Gonchi" about the Uruguayan racer Gonzalo Rodrigues it's excellent too. With some many great racing documentaries makes it almost impossible choosing the best but if I had to it would be Road for me. I tear up with Road.

There is also the unrideables 1 and 2 on YouTube. On any given Sunday 1 and 2, hitting the apex, faster, faster and faster, and fastest. All are great documentaries.

There is a new documentary out on Netflix about the legendary racer Ricky Bobby. I forget what it's called though.

I have the DVD. It is truly moving, especially if you've been to the IOM. If you haven't, you will definitely want to go after watching.

The 2008 NW200 has got to be the most impressive and memorable race I have ever seen,.. and what they didn't say was it was Michale's first major road race victory. It was hard fought and just incredible.

The deal with his dad, Robert, makes you wonder if he didn't instinctively go to pull the clutch only to find he grabbed a handful of front brake. At least that's what I've always thought about it...RIP.

Unfortunately too many of those documentaries mentioned above have somthing in common.

Yeah because the bike flipped. When I was 13 y.o., showing off, in front of a girl I grabbed the front break of Honda 550 and it flipped just like that luckily
wasn't going as fast and I was ridig on the grass. Yes 13 y.o. loved my father RIP but he wasn't the most responsible dad. I was on a 750 a week later.
