WOOT! Go Team GREEN! I'm glad that now they will have someone noticeable on their team! I always said that Suzuki is like the Yankees, but even the Yankees don't win every season, despite their AAA payroll. Hopefully with better riders on Kawi's side we can see some podium finishes, we all know the machine is capable of winning with the right rider.

Wow! I expected him to jump ship, but not to Kawi. I'm not sure he is improving his situation. His whole motogp career has been spent on sub-par machines and Kawi has yet to prove themselves, but at least they are moving in the right direction.

As far as Ben Spies.. doubt it. a) He is deathly afraid of flying b) he loves the AMA and wants to break the most wins and championship records :eh: c) He is deathly afraid of flying d) He would never make it in time to the motogp races via boat 'cuz he's deathly afraid of flying.

I think Hopper is making a big mistake....

My bigger concern is who is he booting out? Ant West is an amazing rider, I think he has the potential to be a perennial top 5 rider in MotoGP... and DePuniet has really been racing well recently.

I was thinking the same thing. I think Ant West's mouth and attitude is what will keep him out of the saddle next season.

Next season should be the year of satellite team expansion. Rumor has it that Schwantz is looking to run a Suzuki satellite squad and I wouldn't be surprised to see Kawi supply bikes for one as well.

If Kawi ends up signing Loris as well, I think Ant West ends up on a satellite team. Not quite sure what would happen with DePuniet.

I think you'll realize the error of your ways after you have been a fan of road racing for more the 2.5 weeks.

NOt sure why Hopper would want to go form one development project to the next after finally getting the Suzuki close to the front. One more year on the zuk and he'd be nippin' at Rossi's rear tire even more. If Schwantz does the sat team, SPIES just might get over his fear of flying. Valum/Zanex/Hydro etc.. works wonders.... I'd LOVE to see his elbows there with the BIG boys.

H2447...............do your homework. Rossi has been the shizznit for a while and will be for a long as he stays around. Ever see him ride????

Rossi is an AMAZING talent, and everyone in the racing industry knows that and respects him immensely for it. what makes you think you know better than all of them?

and rules dictate that motogp machines are to be "prototype only." meaning, they can not be based on production machines. if they don't interest you that's fine, but don't knock them because they're not production bikes, when they're not supposed to be. they are the pinnacle of motorcycling technology. the formula 1 of bikes. any true enthusiast has to appreciate that.

OK sorry i was not trying to nock anyone but i like the super bikes , gp is like you said prototype only, this is where the tech comes from but your only going to get what is aff for them to build and sell, any way i do like gp. i do appreciate the technologie, any how !

SEE I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE,

rossi and them are the best in thier class but i think that there are other riders that are are good too, hopkins, hacking, caparossi, that guy? dont remember his name but i am not limiting it to just gp or super, they have diff styles and diff bikes, but if you get a good rider with the sponsorship money and a better machine i think they could do just as well.

i am a big maladin fan and the way he can cut corners, passing on insidelines speed, that i think is cool. but yes rossie is good, but still overrated, i am not going to buy a bike just couse that is what he rides.

I would love to see what the actual time difference Spies or Rossi would do on a Kawasaki or Honda compared to his Suzuki. For all of you downing Kawasaki or saying he is making a bad move, just remember it is more the rider than the ride at this point and if he is good he will be good on anything competitive, and everything in MotoGP is competitive.

I think he is good and will help bring more recognition to a great manufacturer of sport bikes.
