Michael Henry and Tuskani Figaro combined to rush for four touchdowns and 183 yards as Nicholls picked up its first win of the season, a 38-17 victory over Houston Baptist on Saturday.

Henry rushed for 92 yards on 23 carries and two scores and Figaro, who also passed for 134 yards, rushed for 91 yards on 16 carries.

Nicholls (1-5, 1-3 Southland Conference) was winless last season, losing to Houston Baptist (2-5, 0-4) 31-21 last year.

Nicholls jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter, but the Huskies closed to 21-10 by halftime. Tobias Lofton opened the third quarter with a 39-yard touchdown run, Figaro scored from 14 yards out with 9:01 remaining in the fourth and Francisco Condado kicked a 31-yard field goal for a 38-10 lead with 6:29 left.
