I'm cursed with the crazy loud pipe on my 636 as well (Hotbodys undertail kit) and a MP3 player can't even help me there, I can barely hear the music, I might need to take home some earplugs from the plant...lol

Pipes

You talking about mine it is a shorty exhuast shortened factory headers and a car muffler welded up took a couple of days work but it lightened the bike considerably and sounds really cool not to loud untill you get above 5krpms and at redline it makes you wanna grab your ears and I am pretty deaf . I try to keep it below 5k to not be to loud.

Well, we went for a ride about a week ago to Kemah from the Alvin area. It was mid day and there were 5 of us in my immediate group including myself, my girl on her 636, my buddy on his busa, and 2 other guys. We are coming up to the seabrook end of 528 and i slowed down a bit just to stay with my group for the turn. Obviously this old guy on his hog was in too much of a hurry to wait so he swerves out from behind us (riding squiddish of course in a cut off t-shirt and sunglasses with is chic wearing about the same thing) and romps it by us before he slams the brakes to get back in front of us before the turn. He did it intentionally just to annoy us with his exhaust and i guess to try to make some kind of point that he was going to speed by and cut in. Well surprise surprise, i didnt end up being the most annoyed one on this occasion. So, I decided i would return the noisey gift he gave me back to him... We turned the corner and i pulled out in the second lane beside him and just romped it past him! Prob didnt get too high in the RPM's but you dont have to with this exhaust! lol

I was wearing ear plugs just to stand riding it but i gave him the shot i wanted to. He turned off right after i blasted him with a whack of the throttle and i never saw him again.

It was nice being able to pull the same trick back on a hog for once. Figured i might as well take my chance on the arrogant a**hole while i still got this boz bros on my bike before i sell it! :icon_bigg Its just unbearable cause its so loud!
Wait..what were you doing behind a Hog anyways?

How slow the F@ck were you guys going that a fricken hog passed you?

J/K...that exhaust is pretty loud! My neighbor has the same setup and every time at night he comes - i hear him and the next morning i have a complaint sticker on my apt door - and it aint even me!

Hey bro, we were riding responsibly that day. Well, i ride responsibly just about everyday but every once in awhile ill get my itch to hit the backroads with some friends and tear the pavement up. We were doing the speedlimit but slowing down a little early for the light. No use in rushing up to a red but aparently the hog thought it would be a good idea. And yeah, the exhaust is rediculous. I cant even ride it from 10:00pm-7:00am. Well, i guess i could but the cold idle is OMG. I did it once when i first got it and i felt so bad. It was echoing off all the houses down the street and it was impossible to keep it quiet riding it out of the neighborhood even going slow as !

Hey Chris, im up for that ride! I already know ill win unless someone comes with a straight header and even then it will be close! Ill take my silencer deal out for that ride even though it only makes a 3 db difference but when your already talking 115-120 db's, your gonna go deaf either way. lol And trust me, you will only be hearing my bike the whole time. I HATE IT!! Everyone i ride with complains when we get to a light that the only way they can tell if their bike is even running is if they check the guages! lol
