Hydro-dip painting

I ran across this method of painting on Youtube. Thought I'd give it a try and was very pleased with the end results.

Your picture does do it justice. To me it looks like you got crazy with greasing your chain and got it all over your sprocket. Maybe a better choice of color on your next attempt??? I hope I don't sound like a , but I'm not going to lie to you and say it's badass either.

You're right that the picture doesn't do it justice.

The colors I used are the four colors of my bike. Black/gold/silver and purple. Factory colors on the 2001 Kawasaki ZRX.

The sprocket actually looks like a work of art, rather than a grease slung chunk of metal.

I know it's going to be met with mixed reviews and I don't fault anyone that voices a negative opinion of it.

I love it so I shared it for anyone to like or dislike. It's cool.

Now that I know the rhyme of reason, it looks pretty good for a budget DIY.

and it looks far better than any of the pics can show. It has four coats of clear on it that make it POP, but if I angle the camera to show that, it glares the pic.
