I am by I-45 and Woodlands Parkway. I usually ride up through 149 to 1375 and back down I-45 or back down 149. But there are tons of good back roads up in this area. They are really good for learning, especially during the weekdays in the morning time when there isn't many other vehicles at all.

PS. Have you taken the MSF course?

Yeah, I have some good routes mapped out for that area, and weekdays are the best for traffic and po-pos.
