Ive been riding for about a year, i ride a gsxr 600, 05; ive been practicing how to do a wheelie, until yesterday, when i landed with the front tire pointing to side not center, and i almost lost it.... the handlebars shook like and grabbed on as hard as i could, i was going about 35mph...... any advice on how to do it on my bike......... i have a buddie who does them in second gear going about 120 , he rides a yamaha though....

...sounds like you are the perfect candidate for a steering damper.

my only advice to you is practice them in front of a hospital.

are you clutching up or powering/bouncing up?

alright, in second gear (first gear will come up too fast)...

throttle, chop (and feel the front suspension load up), throttle...there's your wheelie. don't forget to do it in a closed area with an ambulence nearby.

and have your friend record it and put it on youtube for us.
thank you for your entertainment
