got my fiddy street legal

Whos ready for a run?
I wont post pics of the plate, in case of haters.

What I had to do:
get it state inspected(ask for a green sheet $1.00 extra)
took the title and green sheet down to the court house, explaned that it had been made "street legal" and $100.00(paid tax on the original sale) later it is legal.

My hood is now .

the blinkers depend on the inspection station. I read on the dps web site that if the bike didnt come equiped with them they are not required.

things you need are:
headlight
tail light
brake light
horn
dot tires
one rear view mirror
most inspection stations are haters, it helps if you know them.

the way to get by might be to buy a conversion kit, it comes with everything, all electronics built in the headlight(battery and all). I saw them in javi's catalog. buy ONE kit, install it on each bike before inspection.

i heard from someone that if you get caught doing wheelies and on the streets on a streetbike that its automatic felony and impound of your bike. first of all, is this true?

my second question, if that is true, what if you get caught doing a wheelie on the 50? im not feeling a felony just to make my 50 street legal. atleast the other way all you get is a ticket for a illegal motorized vehicle on streets or whatever its called...

I dont know about the felony, but 7 tickets I got(at one time) for riding my 50 on the streets was not cool. So imo it was well worth it, to avoid the multiple tickets from now on.

The leo that gave me the tickets was Ashcraft (dps) and he even wanted to tow my fiddy
