lol @ the story, the funniest part is that you chased him down though. The triumph part is pretty funny too, I think I'm like 1 of 3 ppl on this thread that even got the humor out of your story.
The picture above is ****ing hilarious too.
Wave and if ppl don't wave back.. meh... deal with it. LET THEIR HATE BURN THEM UP. whatever. motorcycling makes me too happy to let silly things like that upset me. to those guys, the bike isn't about anything, just another instrument in their poseur arsenal. **** em.

I like to wave at the Hardley guys mid curve.. or maybe a little drag of the fingers on the white line as I go by.. it is funny to see them trying to decide to let go and wave back or not...

As far as I know, the right culture/gesture is to do the peace sign. I sometimes do the head knod instead if my hands aren't free.

I don't hate cruisers, but I got a problem with ignorance.

Ignorant examples:
1. Buy a Harley, it is American (designed in Germany)
2. I only need a half shell/dew rag, I'll never land on my head (1/3 of people ejected from a bike land on their chin)
3. I don't need CE amour, my leather vest will save me (self explanatory)
4. My bike looks better than yours (opinions are like a$$holes everyone has one)
5. I bought a Harley to be comfortable on long cruises (there are metric cruisers for cheaper, with similar engine design and easier maintenance plans)
6. Lack of respect for anyone out there doing something similar on 2 wheels but with a different band name between their legs, I mean c'mon we all take the same risks here

When Harley riders stop hating metrics, I'll stop having a problem with them.
